1940 Packard One Eighty 1807 Sport Sedan by Rollson

First time offering on this unique automobile since it was purchased, imported and restored by longtime Packard enthusiast Robert Russell.

Sold new in December 1940 to Ricardo LaCosta, a 38 year old Judge in Puerto Rico where it spent its life until advertised in the 1985 Packard Club News Bulletin.  Mr. Russell spotted the ad and fell in love with the lines of this Rollson Packard.  Mr. Russell purchased and imported the car.  Upon receipt of the car, he was quoted as "What a complete disappointment!", even after sending someone to inspect it prior.  Mr. Russell almost disposed of it, but those lines intrigued him so much he commissioned a full nut and bolt restoration.

The car is still maintained and ready for its next caretaker.  You will be the 3rd owner.  Full write up with history and restoration details can be seen in the Spring 1989 Packard Cormorant "The Revival of a Masterpiece".  I can email copies.

Please give me a call on this one.
